Wetherby is around 12 miles south-west of York, roughly a 30 to 35 minute drive from our base, and it's worth knowing upfront that Wetherby actually falls under Leeds City Council rather than City of York Council or North Yorkshire Council, since the town sits within the metropolitan borough of Leeds, West Yorkshire, despite its Yorkshire postcode and market-town character.
